Sometimes you wonder why things can't be like what you have anticipated..

It has been about a week since my last post. Our results was released on Thu and to be honest, I was pretty nervous as I have decided to go to RMIT if I fail any of the modules. But, I cleared every modules though nt with flying colours but it's still better than the previous sem :) No more worries at the moment :) Also had our yearly Vesak Day celebration at a site in Macpherson on both Thu & Fri. Was practically out for the whole day on Thu. But overall it was a pretty fun one this yr. Weather was hot hot hot and I was sweating like mad. So I spent the whole afternoon there stoning away or playing iphone while my parents were busy checking the accounts as my dad was the treasurer. Dinner was rowdy as usual with some auctions activities going on and it ended about 10.30 and my cousins and I had a good time stacking the chairs. It's always fun when U have a grp of army to do smth. We only gt to go home when it was near to midnight after counting all the donations for the night. Pity my dad, gt to count despite his huge blister on his thumb after getting burnt by the joss sticks. It was a huge one till U feel eeeyyer upon seeing it..

Was flattered upon hearing some compliments from the people there, U guys are so nice! Auntie Irene said that I was pretty but perhaps she said that to every kid la cos she also said that my sis was pretty when she saw her the next day. Then heard from my mum that 1 uncle told her and my dad that I gt the "qi zi" which I don't really know the exact meaning, but I guess is charisma?? Then gt 1 auntie thought I don't know dialect, asked my dad if I gt a bf but she used those chimology, like U gt eat the kway tiao she tabao? Though I don know the exact meaning but I heard my grandma say b4. Hahah anyway, Thanks for the compliments yea, I buy U all coffee the next year! HAHAH but then I was there every year since when I was a small little girl and this is the 1st year hearing all these but still it's never too late to hear these and my mum shld be the happiest la..

Spend my 2nd day there but this time looking out for mad people. I don know why but all the siao ppl starts to come and asked for things on the 2nd day, they can be a nuisance when they asked for almost everything till U feel like asking them to leave.. I salute the helpers for tolerating with their nonsense. If it's genuine cases like the poor old man I saw on the 1st day, yea it wld be great to provide him with food and U can tell him the person is really thankful and not taking advantage. Overall, the 2 days passed really quickly and it was fun as Auntie Irene was a joker and she amused us with her jokes till we don't feel bored sitting there for the whole day. Alright, another 1 yr for the next celebration! :)
