Yep, this will be a post on our Memory Lane throughout these 3 wonderful years. I really missed all the Fun & Laughters we had as a class. AHH!!! When I look through the pics, emotions were running high at certain points, Well I guess it will be more emotional when U view it with this song: Graduation. Pls don cry ah! Anyway, I find this part of the lyrics very meaningful:

Fate brought us all together to form Class 23 which I can say is 1 of the Best class to be in! Although a few left 23 due to several reasons but our bond is still as strong, always united as 1. 3 years = 1095 days, so this is how long we spend together. Indeed, we r very lucky that we need not spilt class n remain as a whole for the 3 yrs. We learnt to understand 1 another, helped each other, making sure that they won forward, supporting friends in events. And yep, we can play as well as study so that's how the name Hall of Prodigy came about :) (Surely kanna whacked by other class ppl =X)

Year 1 (April 2006 to Feb 2007)

Frankly speaking, I didn really like my class initially. I was dragging myself to sch for the 1st 2 months partly becos I was still missing my sec sch friends n find it hard to adapt to this new class n also some other committment. But I m glad things kind of got better after that n yea, I feel that I m part of class 23. :) Wasted, we didn get to go for our 1st PTN outing...

This was the time when all of us have a common goal in mind: Chemical Engineering, however, we thought it was smth to do with Chemistry but HAHA NOPE, it's not the case!

Celebrated Joyce's Bdae. At that time, FC3 was our fav hangout, don know for wat reason also...



Cleared Sem1, 1 fell behind so left with 22 peeps plus a new classmate-Yi Xin. I remembered this was taken during APCHEM. Poor Weihao, gt his ears elongated due to NOOB!

Our 2nd PTN outing was with Mr Ting Kok Eng @ East Coast on 7 Feb 07. This outing kind of strengthened the bond n yep we gals were treated like princesses! Thanks guys/princes can? HAHA

See, this is wat I call Gentlemen. Somehow, I feel so blessed to be in this class cos the guys really took great care of us gals. Like wat I mentioned in the post which I wrote my personal view on everyone, I realised I wrote alot of big bros until YP says why nt write Snow White n the 7 dwarfs =.= He lame right?

Heng Hwu, U look so so diff, like little boy! And Vignash, don burnt urself in front of the BBQ pit leh, gt exo reaction U know.

That marks the end of Year 1, lots of emotions in me during yr 1, STRESS was the main factor plus the fact that my heart was in TP. Tough year ahead of us with lots of killer modules to tide over but I think this was the year that we really enjoyed ourselves alot n didn't realised that time passed so fast.

Year 2 (April 07-Feb 08)

Our class remained as 22 peeps, everyone cleared Sem 2 yr 1 which is a super happy thing cos it really saddens U to see ur friend nt in the same class as U. Year 2 modules were hell but still we managed to tide over it. Finally, We joined class 21 n 22 for lectures. Believe it anot, we don't even get to see them in yr 1 cos we r always buddy class with DCP. Lectures became super entertaining with the Malay guys from 21, esp Nasrun! The dancing part with Mr Cheah is smth that I will remember for life.

Then, our 1st industrial visit as a class to Grahamtek. More like a playing to learning trip for me. And this pic looks like a domino effect on the top row. For our course, long pants n covered shoes is a must, thats why guys feel that engineering gals r boring ?

Had our 3rd PTN outing with Mr Cheah Sin Moh. Chalet at Downtown East for 3 days 2 nights from 21May to 23May 2007. For me, I realised that my bond with the class really strengthened from this chalet. Knew alot of my friends better n the most imp thing is I didn sleep for the 2 nights! Achievement okie n thanks Marc for the joyrides, Heng Hwu for foodstuffs n WeiHao for booking the chalet. Oh, it was also a memorable chalet cos I drank n HAHA face red like monkey butt, didn't realised n still went out with them for Ben N Jerry. Tsk Tsk, luckly HH face also like me or else I will be damn Pai seh.

United as One, we squeezed like hell on the queen size bed n I remembered that it was taken during the advertisement when showing the show Mars VS Venus. All the guys were drooling over Jessica Liu okie.


Everyone with a diff character but who cares, the most imp thing is we r bonded as 1 team in class to fight against the GUYS! HAHA just jk, reLACK~ sounds familiar right Wei Xian?? lol

Our last day b4 checkout. Everyone was ald in a rush to pack their things but I still forced them to take 1 pic b4 checkout. Bunny ears for Joshua again. Why r u always the victim? N the culprit is always the same old Roy...


I guess Jonathan shld be quite heavy judging from Heng Hwu's expression. Haha, luckly the bed nv give way. And yea HH still took hm the chalet blanket loh!

Had our brunch b4 we left for home to SLEEP! I m always deprived of my precious sleep during chalet. But I really had fun n had a diff view of my class since then. Tell U guys a secret, I actually grumbled to my mum that I felt sian going to chalet then she says then don go but who knows I played until I don wanna go hm on the 2nd night n stayed the full 3 days. :) From this chalet, I know that our class has gambling kings n queens, alcoholics, n farters! LOL, cos when playing cards, always gt ppl fart then all siam.

So after chalet, felt closer to my class peeps n decided to throw a Bdae Party cum gathering. Yes, I was damn shocked, touched n happy that almost all turned up cos my ex class wasn like that! It was my 18th Bdae, a wonderful celebration I had with U guys. Still gt to go back sch for make up FMB tutorial n Mr Koh still remembers n told me Happy Bdae in class, really shocked too :) U imagine ard 15 of us taking the train together to my hse, like bringing a tour grp out like that. And hehe the rest arrived in Marc's car, still blasted the Gatsby music when U guys arrived.

Thanks Class 23 for coming down n I was really very touched my the special items u guys made. Hmm, it really made me cry. Wanna know wats that, then read further.

Kelvin demo-ing how to carry his bride when he gets married. But he's really strong to carry Jonathan, but somebody now also become very fit ald, right Big Bully??

Wonder will there be a next time to take a pic as a class again at this same spot?? But nevertheless, we all agreed that when each of us gets married, we need to invite the class okie! SO remember this peeps! Any change of hp, email or address pls inform everyone, don MIA k :)

This was the gift I was mentioning above, very thoughtful n touching. All thanks to Heng Hwu n Fiza right for the idea n making right? And also everyone who wrote the notes, it will stay with me forever n I can say that it's the most touching gift I have ever recieved. Also, would like to thank the guys for the watch, voucher n chocolates. The gals for popcorns, softtoy, perfume n bracelet. Yeah, n from this board, I realised I was named as ADIDAS GAL cos they know I m crazy over Adidas stuffs. HAHA

Mid break was over, time to study n we spend our lunch in FC4. A place that most guys appear but nah, I don look at them one okie. For don know wat reason, the 6 of us went crazy n decided to add comments on the feedback board n camwhored in public.

The days without stress n school was just like a place to have fun in. Everyday just hope that lessons end so we can go hm or go chit chat.

Then, it was Heng Hwu'S Bdae. We decided to surprise him with a cake n 2 gatsby wax. Still remember Yvonne n I went to get the cake from the fruit stall, light up n surprised him while the rest lured him to FC2. I actually lost this 2 pics, Yvonne n Ying huan also lost it but luckly man, I remembered that I ever blog these pics n retrieved from my blog.

Next was Jonathan's Bdae. So we decided to have dinner gathering after lesson since it was on a fri. But who knows Bdae boy pang seh us so in the end the few of us went ahead for steamboat at Marina followed by arcade. From this, I realised that Guys certainly can cook better than girls :)

Soon, honey moon period was over. Modules were getting tougher, everyone got more worried esp with our attachment in the Dec holi. That period wasn really gd as we came to know that we will be split out into 6 grps in 2 diff shifts n we need to go Jurong Island for attachment. Practical skills plus exams, not easy k. The things that I missed the most were the overalls n climbing the C-100.



I remembered I gt so sick during attachment n couldn go for a few days, thought I was going to die sia. Attendance was crucial in CPTC so all in all, I missed 3 days of CPTC n I had alot to catch up. The most torturing day I had in CPTC was the 1st day that I went back after 2 days MC, felt so sick, puke in the toilet n I guessed the cleaner thought I was pregnant or wat la, cos she says hmm u okie nt, need help. Then after that she asked me nt to drink water from the water cooler when I didn even planned to drink at all. Luckly Marc send me to meet my parents cos I was too sick to walk. Thanks man, I will remember this! Also wanna Thanks my parents for coming all the way to Jurong East to fetch me for that few days.






My class with the smart overalls. All like aerospace engineers right? But someone says more like car mechanics loh. Anyway, it was nice to take at least 1 pic in overall as Camera was nt allowed in Jurong Island in the 1st place.. But I missed climbing C-100, T-101 n also firefighting which all of us ended up in wet clothings!


After 6 wks of training n torture. It was a day for us to enjoy after the last paper in CPTC. So while waiting for the rehearsal for grad, we camwhored !

This is super artistic. We r super vain n particular in choosing the spot for phototaking cos I was NOT the 1 who chose to take here. But, the effect turn out real nice.

It's quite a sad thing cos none of our gals r in the 1st 3 teams which r in the morning shift. N I was the one n only unlucky one to not be given my choice to go to the morning shift..

Of course, my grp was the funniest grp, all the fun n laughter came from US.

Group 5- Fiza. She was damn poorthing, they put her alone in that grp. somemore I see freak n skinny pig in that grp somemore!

Then, it was finally the day when we get out of CPTC after 6 wks of tough training. We had a mino graduation ceremony n performance by our friends. Also, yep on behalf of DCHE, I made the 2 boards n it was presented to CPTC as a token of appreciation by our batch. It touched April Tan until she cried, which I really didn expect.

Wonder if this 2 boards r still there anot?

All smartly dressed up to collect our certs. And we was the 1st class to initiate to take pic with all trainers n in the end most of the class also did. Kind of missed our classmates during the 6 wks cos can't really meet up with the diff shift peeps n even if we r in the same shift, don really have to the chance to interact also. But the night view is Jurong Island is really beautiful. I spend my Valentines Day with my friends :) Night shifts was also a very exciting thing for us but it was tiring.

In between CPTC, we had our 4th PTN outing cum Chritsmas Party at my hse. It was my sick period but no choice still have to go on. We had buffet n exchange of presents. Damn cool can, HH made us draw lots to get the person's name that U r supposed to buy for. And I didn realised my class gt alot can act very well leh! I remembered I picked Eric's name n bought him a towel set while Roy gt my name n gt me a cardigan. I believed all of u guys still remember who u gave n who gave U right?

Oh ya, and Thanks class for the bottle of Red Wine, my family appreciates alot. I know it's all HH's idea right?

Year 3 (April 08 to Feb 09)

Year 3 was a busy n tough year for all of us. I guessed many of US were very stress n that explained why we didn take pics during our Sem 1 in yr 3. It's like super rare. However, I realised all of us have become more matured in yr 3, more focus in our studies, projects n care alot for 1 n another. I frequent the library very often although I still didn even borrowed a single book since yr 1. :) Dec holi in 08 was horrible, we went back everyday to do projects in the lib n yep I always see the same old hardworking gang from our class n the whole lib like our hse like that, we even ate in there :)

So as u guys know, our course requires us to do lots of practicals n We simply LOVE practicals cos waiting time = camwhore. Read further n U will know XD

Besides Studies, we also did lots of sports in yr 3 to relieve stress I supposed. Running for Napfa, GYM to exercise NOT to see guys okie, badminton to relieve stress. SRY gals, promised u all to swim but drag until no more sch n no more using squash n tennis courts T_T I haven even lay my hands on them n sch's OVER!

That's the job of Chemical Engineers. But is cool to have ladies engineers although I know I wouldn have a chance ald.

Our last prac grp- MTA. Doing the reports was super stress cos it's like nv ending assignments, FYP n exams. Practically rushing 1 after another, can't even breathe properly..

Thanks Mdm Tan for taking care of US in our FYP labs. Yep, we helped her to celebrate her Bdae. We will always remember ur help to US during FYP unlike someone...


Flowers from our BFs. HAHA just jk, it's from Fiza cos we had exchange of Christmas Gifts that time, everyday the 4 of us took turns to give present. So SWEET! AHH Joyce, remember wat I will say after this: OMG, No wonder I see BEES ard me now. And I missed Row Row Row a boat by u guys now..

Then after the tight schedules, the sem 1 holidays r here. Had our 5th PTN outing at Pasir Ris. We had a tight budget due to insufficient class fund so all Thanks to Henry-chairman for getting things done, Roy-for booking the chalet, Marc- the driver n Me- for the BBQ food although is nt me is my maid :) This was our 2nd chalet, more fun this time not so much on gambling n did many new things like night cycling, off to the beach at night n joyrides. I agree 1st night was pretty boring cos I was the only gal n 1 of the guy whom I forgot who asked me: U nt scared meh, U alone leh? But nah, I know U guys r gentlemen so NOT SCARED! It was only until 12am that Joyce n Hainita came to join us after their work.

This was the 1st night when we went for joyride/night cycling plus supper. I know this pic will stay in our minds forever k, looked closely n u will know why..It's HISTORY!

Then, this was our 2nd shot, nt bad right? I also learnt to cycle or rather refresh my skills but perhaps due to the lightings n nervousness, I couldn ride n Jon says U need another 2 more wheels behind la.

But, I proved him wrong cos the next morning. With the help of the gals, I refreshed my skills although still can't balance well but still managed to make it to Downtown east for MAC. I gt 2 helpers somemore, 1 in front of me n 1 behind me to help but i forgot is who ald, WX shld be 1 of them..

Gambling was a MUST have for us- gambling addicts! Remember the term used by YP- HAPPY~~~~ must pull the P very long de.

Guys doing the job for BBQ. I guessed U guys next time will siam if there r any BBQ cos U all will always BBQ n served us. Seriously, we really appreciate alot.

YEAH, I believe all of us relieved alot of STRESS during this chalet right cos I myself did enjoy alot! The feeling is somehow diff from the 1st chalet.

Taken on the last night after Hainita the Love Guru helped us read our love life. Not true for me, not possible for me to get back with him cos I don like him!

Back to school to face to the music. Our class was super honoured to be chosento go to Pulau Tekong for a visit to see wat's the life of NS. Was a very fun trip, at least we know wat the guys r doing in there. And gals with BF in NS shld nt leave them for others k, I guess wat they need is their GF's morale support to help them endure the tough training.

On board the ferry, was damn shaky n yep, we gt 1 more new gal for our class XD

I was asked by Mr Ting to stand in front to show that we r from SP cos he forgot to bring along the board.


The next major event we had in NOV was Mr and Miss SP. Yep, we do have a representative from DCHE. He is Shahril from buddy class. So some of our classmates also went down to support him. And he won the title!

On 26 Nov, it was CLS Graduation Party. It wasn't compulsory but happy to say that quite a big number from my class went :) Think is the biggest class from DCHE, HAHA, even Mr Amos Goh also told me that..I was to go up the stage to collect a prize for participating in a class photo contest. I came in 3rd while Fiza came in 2nd. The prize wasn the main thing for me, is that moment when they played ur pics in front of the whole CLS that touches me. Hope U guys feel it that way too. For those who r wondering where the $50 went to, I used that on the 3rd chalet :)

Then for Lucas(right), he asked me that day wat's my view towards him, well I told him: my gd friend, then he says he thinks that I gt alot of gd guy friends. Well, I don deny that but I also gt alot of gd girl friends! Okie la, Lucas is someone that's super playful n cheeky, likes to disturb me too n he damn wat, he says he missed the times in FYP lab!!! cos why, he can bully me =.=

Next major event was on 28 Nov. SPSTAR! Yep, we too have a Shining Star to represent CLS n that's FIZA!!! I remembered I went sch early to meet Henry n Hainita to do the posters but Hainita overslept so left me but luckly the helpers came! Thanks peeps! Oh ya, on my way to find them I saw eyecandy too, purely for seeing only.. So, after planning I realised the guys can actually do things so much better than me. In the end, I was only there to give instruction n they did the work. Thanks!

All the DCHE supporters from diff classes. Then after that a handful of my classmates went to LOT1 for dinner at abt 10pm. I still remembered HH teasing YP, come we go Choa Chu Kang eat DESERT!! LOL, if u r still thinking wat's wrong then i tell U the ans, it shld be deSSert! So we settled for Long John cos all shops r closed by then n most of the guys gd loh, stay CCK then the pathetic few: Me, Ying Huan, Joshua n Yi Pei gt a long journey hm. Saw somebody's eyecandy, too bad U didn stop at the same stop as me..And I reached hm at 12am!

Here it comes the biggest event of the year! CLS Dinner & Dance at Marriott Hotel on 9 Dec. I remembered that all of us were half hearted whether to go anot, n we took super long time to decide, waiting for 1 another to agree. But I m very happy that quite alot of us went n it was damn fun, not the food for me but the interaction! All having a totally diff look from how we looked during lectures n the camwhoring with almost everyone. Party after dinner was quite interesting for us, smth like clubbing, yep I was pulled to the dance flr by Jonathan, wow he's a pretty gd dancer N fiza damn funny, she says she also went to the dance flr cos very curious to see me dance. Well, nv really dance like them, hmm perhaps feed me with alcohol n when I go high then U probably will see me dancing. HAHA

After dinner n partying was ald 1am, but to us, the night is still young! So we didn't planned to go hm n decided to stay out for the night till morning. Thanks to Marc n Fu Loong for being our drivers. Oh ya, we all witnessed how Vignash puked cos he drank too much during DND..

Our 1st stop was Gloria Jeans Cine. We rot there by drinking coffee, playing cards n chatting till 3am. Then Joyce n I went to explore Cine, damn quiet n scary..And our class went crazy for phototakings outside Cine, act like statues, hug trees, jump n fly like superman, Gay actions, act cool pose n blocked Jay's face! Decided to leave this place for Tau Huay but Rochor side closed so we went to Geylang. AHH! CHICKEN ALERTS!

Yep, after a while of hunting for this place we finally get to eat out Tau Huay at 4am. Everyone was feeling super tired by then. My eyes were burning with tears n I gt the gold fish eyes feeling somehow..So we decided to go hm after eating. YP n Joshua cabbed hm while Henry, Roy, Lucas followed FL. And the rest of us followed Marc to Vivo to wait for the 1st bus/train..It was 5am then, roads were quiet n we decided to camwhore on the roads, nice exp but it's dangerous! Took the 1st train hm at 6+am n reached abt 7am..Although it was tiring but is worth the fun time being together as a class. :) It will always stay in my mind.

After all the major fun events, the New Year arrived. It was time for another major scary event: Final Year Project Presentation on 31 Jan 09. Each grp did their best to impress the lecturers n it was the time that the 1 year of hardwork finally paid off..

They wanted to come to my place for CNY visiting but some say nv bring oranges, cannot cos rude. So, we took a long time to decide the venue for dinner n proceed to Shokudo. 1st time there, Jap style of Mache.

FYP down that time, shld be happy but somehow I wasn feeling that gd the next day cos MR GM came looking for me again...It was pretty torturing at that period of time n U will feel J always for don know wat reason. LOL, Thanks Joyce Ang n Pui Sauw for counselling me!

Life back to stressful mode after FYP, had remaining lectures n rush the uncomplete assignments. Then gt to go ack lab to clear our stuffs. That's probably my last time stepping into W314 :(

Soon, it was time to face the final music: Final Exams in SP. Tough modules with killer papers. I remembered everyone being so demoralised after each of the 1st 3 papers. Everyone thought that's the end: Forward Module! Plant Safety was our 4th n last paper n I was having mixed emotions that time.. Happy to complete the papers so can celebrate with friends, Sad to leave SP, DCHE n missed my friends! Fickle minded yea..So, we stayed back to camwhore on my request n discussed abt chalet.

Finally, it was time to have our last PTN outing on 3rd March at Fairy Point Chalet 1. A huge chalet that looks like a haunted house. It's damn scary. But, the bonding kind of scare away those scary feelings leh.Maybe cos we r united as one, that's why..Last chalet ald sponsored by the sch, a sense of sadness lingering ard in me somehow..So, wat we did in this 3 days? WATER BOMBS kept appearing during the 1st 2 days aiming at innocent ppl. LOL. Then we BBQ for the 1st night, joyride n I drove Marc's car! Glad that U guys love the cheesecakes n jelly! Then 2nd day, we had homecooked food for lunch, played L4D! n cooked n BBQ for dinner. The details r in the earlier post :)

2nd night was camwhoring night. Took lots of pics together! This pic looks nice right us against the big house. The guys look like those soccer players in posters, n we poor gals got to squat.

After some shoutings, I managed to gather them for a grp pic although 1 missing cos in the toilet. If U realised, my class is full of REDs! The whole pic like red sea like that..

Also, my class is famous for alcohols. We had drinking session with peeps from other class n sad to say they wasn as high as the 1st night! That means I missed the gd show! :(

3 days just ended like this, it was time for us to check out n I wonder when will be our next class gathering?? I hope that there will be more chalets next time despite being out of SP. Cos remember Friends Forever.

The last pic b4 we left for chalet. SO SAD~No more ONE MORE ald..I guess I missed this class more than I missed my sec 4 class when I finished my O Levels. Perhaps, like wat my dad says cos I spend longer time with this poly batch that's why I will missed them more.


Then on 17 March, just a day b4 the release of results, the guys decided to go relieve stress. So a few of us went Sentosa. Had a great tanning n fun time there. Nice place to go as a class too n if there's another time, I will confirm prepare sunblock n rub till skin tear cos I m super black now esp my legs, really like burnt!

Then it was time to go home to face another music: RESULTS! But nevertheless, I enjoyed myself alot at Sentosa, Fish n Co n Rochor Tau Huay. HAHA, n the rojak canto YP used, super funny.

Well, that's the end of the long post which I took 5 days to do..Initially I thought quite easy but now I take back my words. But I think is worth the time cos at least I have smth to refer to in case next time I forgot about my poly life.

I truly understand the meaning of FRIENDS now. They r just someone that u can have fun with at the same time show care n concern about each other. Lets have a gathering soon n reminder in case U guys forgot to indicate ur attendance in SAS to attend graduation!!! Okie, Meet up real soon n Friends Forever.
