I think I will use 1 word to describe the 3 days 2 nights at Batam: Adventurous !

What I remember the most will be "HEE HEE HEE HEE" *Robert's laughter*, "BEEP BEEP BEEP" *Drivers communicate by sounding honk*, "007 bang, 123456UP, Big Fish Small fish-loser =vodka", incidents almost became accident, Black out and many more...
*Long Post ahead*

1st day 4th July

Took the 1h 10 mins ferry ride to Batam on Sat morning. No seasick but the rollercoaster feeling will always gives me "heart attack". Took the hotel shuttle back to Holiday Inn. OMG, damn far away from the ferry terminal esp their bumpy and Ulu roads..We have to pass by a series of bends on a mountain slope b4 reaching and it will really freaked U out during the night *no street lamps*. Unpacked, rest b4 having Lunch at Terrace Cafe. I had my fav avocado juice :) We went Go Kart after lunch. SGD$18 for 12 mins +? Quite ex but damn fun. LOL, I was practising the drive safely rule by keeping to the left lane and reduce speed when approaching bends but then Marc & Yi Pei damn pro! They overtake me many times and small stones will hit my face when the zoom by!!! Applause for our future SG F1 drivers :)

Then sat taxi to their shopping centres-DC Mall & Nagoya Hill. On our way, super "LUCKY"..Taxi broke down, water tank overheated I think? So we board Mr Robert boy's taxi, Damn comical driver can and his laughter goes HEEE HEEE HEEE HEEE, machiam starting engine and I think his laughter is contagious lah..Was super boring, shopping at Batam sucks so we managed to buy groceries from their hypermart instead..Pathetic right? Then we rushed back for our complimentary Thai dinner and Boys over Flowers..The wind was shiok at night when we were in the taxi, so windy but be prepared to see dirt when U washed ur face =.=

Damn funny, indonesia always have black outs and during the 1st time we thought it's Yvonne's fault cos when she walked away then the lights went off...only to realise that the whole hotel also black out. After midnight, we went to the guys' room for drinking session. Played 007 bang, 123456UP, Big fish Small fish. Sian, always I tio so I drank quite many cups and yeah my face was damn red..Not really high just that my voice changed and I talked quite loud I think? Then the moment we went back to our room, I fell asleep the moment I lie down. Shiok la!

2nd day 5th July

Had international buffet as brunch then off we went for our water sports. We did Parasailing, Jet Ski and Banana boat at S$50 but we managed to bargain to $47. Damn fun, enjoyed alot! Banana boat was the best though scary la when U capsized becos U don wanna fall b4 ur friends fall. Struggling to stay afloat with ur friends was tough. Lots of funny incidents like when we capsized, I flew quite far cos Marc whom was behind me pushed me when it capsized and Yvonne hit Marc's stomach while he banged on her head too..I can only say Marc has a very gd memory, he told us all these cos we don remember a single thing when we fell into the water. Had a hard time getting up on the banana boat and it was really unglam when the guys just pulled us up by grabbing our vests. Haha, the most unglam look in this 3 yrs yea?! I would love to try Snorkeling next time cos I love to see the pics that are taken underwater but the scary thing is to interact with the fishes U see..

Then went back Hotel to shower b4 going Nagoya Hill for body massage at Isabella at S$29. 2hours is relaxing enough but we still feel the aches today and blue black surfaced somehow..It was time for Seafood at Golden Prawn. Damn cheap la, only S$99 for so many stuffs. Then here comes the scary part. We almost gt into deep shit. His tyre punctured twice, once when we were driving along the expressway so we need to slow down and find somewhere to change tyre and hell man, it so dark, no street lamps. But then this was still okie compared to the next one. So went to buy another spare tyre and we glad that he did that or else I don know what's going to happen to us.

On our way back speeding along the slopes of the "mountain" with lots of bends, wet roads due to rain and total blackness. Suddenly we heard a BANG, some of us screamed cos we didn know what was going on, some thought it was gunshot, bomb, car crash or tyre punctured. Driver stopped immediately and the taxi landed up in wet soil next to the mountain to check and we got off the taxi. Yucks, all our slippers kanna soil and we were freaked out due to the Bang, darkness, surrounding sound and accident cos it was a 2 way road so car might bang into us if they didn focus. Tyre punctured again, hmm shld be burst cos the hole is super super big lah! He changed while we waited and prayed hard that we can reach our hotel safely cos no spare tyre ald..I am glad we did, Thank God! :) By the time we reached hotel, it was ald 12am SG time, took a bath and we had drinking session again. This time I think I gt a little tipsy =X Head was spinning and I almost fell asleep on their sofa. Haha

3rd day 6th July

Had breakfast and wanted Go Kart but then due to the lack of time, we went exploring our hotel. And we played table tennis fighting the strong wind. Crappy game like playing badminton. LOL Then we checked out at 1pm SG time. Everyone was sian so we decided to catch the earliest ferry back so we took the 3pm SG time. Had spare time so we went shopping at MegaMall, the best shopping centre in Batam so far..But then we just bought J.Co donuts and ate at A&W.. Oh ya, wanna Thank Marc for carrying my heavy bag and Yi Pei for carrying my donuts, or else I think I jialat ald..

As it was raining, the ferry ride was quite bumpy. Fell asleep and gt a shock when the ferry hit the wave, rollercoaster effect again. Okie I know my reaction damn funny la and YP witnessed that =.= Finally reached Singapore at 4pm then went DFS to get alcohols. We gt so many things till our stuffs were all piled up at the X-Ray scanner. Damn funny, even the policemen also laughing cos our things gt pushed and some bags even drop on the flr. Found a trolley and we dumped all the things in it and pushed to Vivo. Abit pai seh to carry so many things and walked ard vivo and we parted from there. There were so many eyes staring at us in the train, haizzz confirmed kanna nicknamed as Kiasu Singaporean :(

Last but not least, enjoyed the trip alot esp my 1st time doing watersports, Go Kart and Body Massage. But Batam is not for shopping for sure! Really can't imagine if I were to live there, just feel so contented living in SG :) Really had fun with my dear friends and lets have a class outing soon!!!
