Finally, work in SP has come to an end. I have learnt alot from it. It makes me realise that how lucky m i cos saw some cases of students coming to apply for financial assistance. There's 1 case that i remember the most clearly. This mum and son came to me and ask me abt getting help from SP cos they r not able to pay for the sch fees and also the laptop. so no sch fees = cannot enrol and cannot study!!! I can see the passion of studying in his eyes but then his mum told me that she cannot come out with the sch fees as she's a single parent and working part time only and they have only 1 more day to register b4 enrolment closes.

Upon hearing that, i feel so sorry for them, tried my best to help them in wat way i can but after asking my officer, she says even they apply, they still have to pay fees first b4 SP returns them later. so is still back to square 1. Is a pity, becos of $, many ppl out there can't pursue their studies despite their interests. told my parents abt it and they also feel the same way as i do esp my dad cos he was also in the same position last time. thoughts of helping them financially did cross my mind but the prob is there r so many ppl out there facing the same prob, so there will be no endings to it, moreover i have seen ppl taking advantage of all these financial assistance b4. On the last day of enrolment, saw them again and i asked them whether they gt the bursary and she was very grateful and says ya apply ald, thanks alot for helping us. arghh, upon hearing this, my heart melts man. feels so happy when i can help someone in some ways, won't feel that i m useless and i feel so happy for them although i don't know them. i have learnt 1 very imp lesson from this, NV take things for granted and also i will think b4 i spend now cos there r many ppl out there that is struggling to make ends meet.

think i will continue more stories in my next post cos i think is getting a little too wordy but b4 i end, wanna say Happy Birthday to my dad and thank God that my mum's report is okie! =D
